Team Parra B&W & Fresh Antipasti



Little impromptu photo sesh on our Sunday walk through town.  We picked up some local fresh goodies, the norm: strawberries, eggplant, melon and crudo di parma (prosciutto).  A common antipasti (appetizer) is prosciutto with cantaloupe, so fresh and good and healthy and just so delicious. The combination of savory crudo and sweet melon is a match made in heaven!! Simple to make and something I wouldn't have ever thought of combining together. At the local salumeria we can get it freshly sliced but I know they sell it back in the states too.  I recommend you try this!! DH wasn't too much a fan though, he said he wants meat separate from sweet...so I guess it might not appeal to all the masses but for me switching to Paleo, this makes a perfect light lunch.
