Serenade of the Week.

Well folks, you should all know this song...its an oldie (kinda) and I have always loved this song.  This week whilst practicing this song, it was quite painful as I have had to regrow callouses on my fingers.(This probably sounds gross if you don't know what I'm talking about...) They had completely gone away from not playing guitar for so long. (no bueno) They're getting better day by day as I have been playing guitar almost every day now.  Anyways, I started singing this song to Zoe when I would put her to sleep awhile ago, and then i figured I might as well learn this on the guitar and take it all the way!! Whenever I learn a song I try not to make it sound exactly like the original, just to kind of put my own touch on it and not just be a copy of the original song.  I think that goes for whenever anybody sings a cover of a song.  And this version has Zoe playing percussion towards the end.  (kinda) Anyways, I will stop talking now and get on to the song.  I used to babble before singing songs when I performed shows back in the day...nervous habit I think.
