Goals.

When my brother comes in a month for Zoe's first birthday we are going to take a hike to Cava Grande. (translated: grand canyon) It is about a 1.5-2 hour intermediate level hike down to 6 secluded freshwater lagoons. Zoe loves taking a bath, so I can't wait to swim with her in these beautiful fresh water lagoons, wearing her little baby retro swim attire!! Cannot wait.  I just hope it will be warm enough by May.  During the summer months this is a popular little getaway for locals and tourists alike. It might be nice though, going before all the masses! Also being in a European county topless sunbathing is quite common...however that will not be me. :)

However, for me to wear a bathing suit I need to shed some weight....well maybe not some, a lot.  I haven't exactly been dieting or exercising like i should have been since having Zoe.  I couldn't wait to have my regular body back after feeling like a bloated whale for 9 months.  It seemed to have slipped my mind that this does actually take work...(staring at bikinis online all day does NOT make you skinnier, just so you know.)    Now almost a year later, I look in the mirror and I don't see the sexy/toned body that I had envisioned by this time.  One of my weaknesses is laziness...I love laying around and doing nothing watching movies and what not. This is not easy for me to admit, but I'm putting it out here now so I can put it on the record that from today I am going to push my laziness aside and get myself back in shape.  I would say I need to lose 25 lbs. Give or take a few.  I don't know if I am brave enough to post pictures of before and after (like some of my brave fellow bloggers have done...props to you girlies!)
Anyways, say goodbye to chubby/lazy Leah and hello to future skinny/healthy Leah!  DH is sweet and bought me some things to motivate me to lose weight.  (Or maybe I said, "hey, can I buy these so when I'm skinnier I'll wear them?") heehee. Either way, he is a sweet and honest man and I love him so!
