Hello!!
This past weekend we decided to have a little BBQ get together with our Sicilian friends.
Since we will be leaving in 2 months we want to spend as much time with them as we can!! We thought it would be cool for them to try typical American style BBQ foods. So we cooked up some burgers and dogs, DH's special BBQ beans, bacon jalapeno poppers, deviled eggs....etc.
Everything turned out really good and they liked it all. We ended out the evening with a hookah sesh, or as they call it here in Sicily 'Nhargile'. They also suprised me with a homemade Tiramisu cake and a birthday song serenade accompanied by electric guitar, courtesy of the talented Giovanni...!
All in all it was a very fun evening with good friends and Zoe was the life of the party...she stayed up way past her bedtime and was a trooper!
